Officer In Taser Incident Resigns

A Colonial Beach police officer recently cleared of wrongdoing in a stun-gun incident has resigned from the force as authorities investigate new allegations of misconduct. via The Free Lance-Star

what ever happened with this case? I moved from King George 9 months ago, haven't heard the outcome, did they settle or still ongoing?

ALL charges were dropped.

i think this issue really sucked they really hurt this juy and now they act like it never happened it is not fair to his family

If he would have complied with the officers request to cooperate and if he did not pose a threat none of this would ever have happened. This guy was out of control a danger to the public, himself, and the officers.

yeah well i know this guy and he also has previous medical conditions which may have caused him to act in the way he did including a brain tumor and he did not have a weapon and as far as i have heard he wasn't throwing punches or anything like that and on top of that the guy is older and small they could have just grabbed him and subdued him not shock the hell out of a wet scared man with real medical conditions

It takes a real man to taser a person having obvious mental health issues. The man's pastor was right there and calming him down. That was a criminal act, too bad the court's didn't get it right.
