I was there on Sunday and when I was leaving, people were giving me crap about wearing an Eagles jersey right after that game had ended. I'm not even an Eagles fan, just supporting the local teams. Idiots.

Seems like there is a bad crowd at that place lately. The other day, a customer dropped a loaded gun on the floor, and now this. Noticed the past few months, just about once/twice a week, there are police reports about the place.
Was there an article or soemthing about this gun being dropped?

I guarentee this guy provoked the crowd one way or another. Steelers fans are 10 times worse then Eagles fans...especially when the steelers win. I once became a Denver Broncos fan because that was who the steelers were playing. The crowd of Steelers fans would go absolutly nuts everytime the steelers gained ONE YARD. I understand cheering for a touchdown but when a team gains ONE YARD....give me a break.

Provoked the crowd? Even if he did, so what?

I'm as big a sports fan as the next guy, but anyone who gets so worked up about a GAME that they resort to violence, risking criminal assualt charges and all that goes along with that, is just a complete moron and needs to get a life.

It was in the Police Blotter the other day. Guy's loaded gun fell out of his sweatpants onto the floor. Guess he didn't learn the Plaxico lesson yet: don't wear sweatpants if you're packing.

i was at starters when this happened. there was no way this young man deserved what happened to him.
Starters happens to be one of the most popular sports bars in the valley, it draws big crowds. which means a diverse group of people. this incident happened outside the restaurant in the parking garage. Starters had been taking precautions with security in the place but outside is the city's territory. It's a shame that things like this happen, but thats the world we live in. All you can do is try to minimize your own risk, and help those that you can.

If it's on Starter's property, it's their issue, not the cities.

Were the jackholes who did it New York or Philly transplants?

Being a Steelers fan since 1981, I've never had any problems around here supporting my team.
