The CCP law in Nevada was written by someone who knows nothing about guns. Go buy a three S&W M&P semi-autos chambered in 9mm, 10mm and .40, and you will have to "qualify" with all three to carry all three with your CCP. To put that into perspesctive, how would you like to have to get a driver's license endorsement for every car you drive, including a blue escort, white escort, and yellow escort. Brilliant! Qualify with both a seim-auto and a revolver, okay. But every gun? Dumb!

Yea that's pretty stupid. Ive been thinking about getting mine, gotta really think about which is the best one to carry, cause I don't wanna have to pay for each class individually. How exactly does it work, do I just have to qualify through a class for each weapon then add it to the list or do I have to pay each one I add on through the sheriff's dept? Where is the best place to take the class. I have a list of like 50 places don't know which one to choose.

Oh yea and just my two cents its no ones business to know who is carrying, kinda defeats the purpose.

You don't pay for a class for each gun you have. You spend a Saturday and take an NRA class. Part of the class is going out to a range and qualifying with each gun, so bring every gun you want to qualify with. The class I was in students were trading off guns so they were qualifying with as many guns as possible. The instructor signs off and you take your forms and money to the Sheriff's Department. If you end up wanting to qualify with other guns after you have your CCW, you get in touch with whoever taught your class and they'll usually have you meet up at the range with their next class, you qualify, take your forms and money to the Sheriff's Department, etc.

Hope this helps. RR
