I love how the "local" establishments whine about free enterprise, "eyesores" (shame on you Guy Thomas), Sparkman's inability to have a life, so he minds everybody else's business....It is not an eyesore, it is a cover for some folks that sell wonderful food, that have a great attitude, smile at the customers, are consistant in their service, working when most people wouldn't dare leave their house, and accomplished that feat out in the elements. All the attributes afformentioned are a quality that other businesses, especially the food business, could learn from, study them, try their food, and emulate them!
Manchester, by the way, is no pretty,(petty) community, it used to be....it is as tacky as Lake George, Little money stays in town because of the outlets, so we are poor little rich kids, griping about the next kid who is so much lower than the rest, because he dares to get his hands dirty... |

You sound so bitter anotherpointof view. The issue is much larger than the trailer, it is about local people following the local zoning rules. The trailer is new twist in the regulations and others want to have sense of what is proper and what is not proper. Being at the meeting it was a very civil discussion about ideas and no one had a bad word to say about any individual. It sounds like you are upset with people in Manchester for some personal reason. The meeting did not share your same tone. Open your mind!

I attended the meeting last night and was sorry that the 2 big mouths that started all this had nothing to say. Shame on you Guy! After all the town put you through with your upstairs seating I cant believe that you'd get involved with another business problems with the town. I for one will never eat at ZOËy'S again. Simply because your an A$$. Your business is not effected by Neil so SHUT UP!!
As for you Mr. Sparkman You really need to shut up! Its hard enough to do business in Vermont and even harder in Manchester. There are no incentives to be here (in VT) No tax breaks to small business. We are here because we want to be. That being said, its hard enough to deal with zoning and permitting as it is. After going through all the hoops that the town presents Now people should care what you think? Its truly said that the town of Manchester allows you to waist so much of its time and the tax payers dollars just because some obnoxious OLD MAN has to bitch. On behalf of the honest and hard working tax payers of Manchester...and with all due respect. SHUT THE HELL UP SPARKMAN!!! WE DON'T CARE IF YOUR UN HAPPY!!!! GO BACK TO WHATEVER STATE YOU LEFT AND BITCH TO THEM!!!! Enough is enough and we have had enough. |

Mr. Spartman and Guy,
What happened to all of the intensity ? I went to the meeting to see what the two of you were all about and I found nothing but a couple of cowards hiding behind the select board. Do you two truly believe in all the shit youve spued out over the past week, or do you feel like a couple of male appendages now that youve had the opportunity to realize your the minority. Next time you feel the urge to but into someone elses bussiness you should skip the forplay and just throw the clown suit on. |

Sharing Ideas, perhaps you are right....I know the whole idea is to rewrite the Manchester Constitution on how to present your business to all other people gracing the streets of the beautiful, quaint, homey, pristine, cute, none-of-the-above, village. I have been privvy to the pettyness of these folks for many years, and seen the inequality of the zoning board, the waste of the businesses money and time to jump through the hoops,(for the towns beautification), only to be turned down for some little item...
I wish I was at the meeting to see the civility of the two instigators,(and notice they were sitting on their tails)...Yes, they were pointing out the faults and "eyesores" that seem to occupy the minds of men...no wonder the divorce rate is so bloody out of control! Lastly, as I sign off, after the first day, or perhaps before the first day when the "eyesore" carnival atmosphere magnet was to appear, the whole issue would be moot, if the powers that be were clear on intent, and had stated it should be wrapped in glass, with vinyl siding and black or green plastic shutters screwed to its side, we would have gone on our merry way and been miserable to each other, because we wouldn't have anything else to bitch about. |

Guy Thomas and Sparkman,
Why weren't you talking at the meeting? You two started this whole thing. You don't like the color of Hound Dogs. What color would you like it to be? What if not everyone likes the color, then what? I can only guess that if Neil can't keep the color red, anyone who has any shade of red on their establishment will have to repaint also. Are you going to pay for the repainting? You two are a couple of losers!!! |

To Guy Thomas and Sparky,
Thank you so much for the publicity. I invite you both to come to enjoy lunch at the circus wagon. Come dressed as the clowns you are and get 50% off your purchase. Thanx for everything!!!! |

these two nutless goosenecks need to get laid or gat a life......what they really should do is get a couple of those scrumptious foot longs at hound dogs...myself and an employee of mine grabbed a couple the other day....they were downright delicious!! and as far as a color change goes...i disagree....unless you want them to paint a giant weiner on the side...with sparkman and thomas's faces on it..lol...later....

Sheet..those two dipwads...wouldnt be the first time their faces were on a weiner. |
