Too bad the stats reflect your opinion. You better check the crime stats for Orange City, Deland and Daytona Beach much higher then Deltona and they all have a police department. The number of people living here has what do do with a police departemnt besides deltona's ego.
I much prefer knowing facts and how much the cost will be and what coverage we can afford. People like yoiu who jump at things because of the number of people who live here and have no other opinion are part of what is wrong in the city. Sheep to be led. Wha are you for sspetz? Are you for something we don't yet have any facts or figures for? Another sheep that politicians love. Out of control is the crime rate and types of crimes happening in Orlando sspetz, no comparison to what goes on here but those are facts and you don't need them to make a decision. Baa Baa litle sheep follow th leader, don't question baa baa sheep. |

All we hear from Deltona government is they want to spend money. They waste money & try to justify it. Lordy this city needs some real smart people running it and that we don't have. They keep talking about it like it's a for profit business, it's not.

I spoke to a woman today who said if Deltona had their own PD, then all the officers would put more effort into protecting the city becuase they would all live in the city.... I have never heard of a city employer requiring all their employees to live in the city - maybe the ones who want to take their cars home? Other citys allow officers to live outside the city, but not take their cars outside the city...
Anayway, just exactly how is the current situation (the Sheriff's Office) failing the city so badly? |
The VCSO is NIT failing the city. They never tell you that the surrounding cities and others in central florida with their own PD's have higher crime rates. This is all for political purposes and nothing they say is based on facts!!!!! Ask them to produce facts that our own PD will be better then what we have. Ask for the coverage we'll be able to afford. Ask them for anything based on facts. |
