Can anyone advise what the loud noise heard on Thursday (October 8) at 7:30am in Union County NC was? It shook homes around the southern part of the county. All of the neighbors heard and felt the same thing. Does anyone know? Could it have been something at the metal recycling plant on Hwy 74 at Wingate.
