Slaying linked to drug deal gone awry

Hoping for tips that will lead to the arrest of a man who fatally shot a father of three, police released a photo Monday of the truck they believe was involved in the incident at the Los Lomas Apartments in east Arlington.
Officers found Reginald Taylor, 31, at 3:40 a.m. Oct. 12 in the 800 block of Timberlake Court. He died of a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner's Web site.
Police said Monday that Taylor was caught in gunfire stemming from a drug deal one of his three roommates had brokered -- a deal that Taylor and the two other roommates knew nothing about. Read more
