Why bother, he already went to jail. This is like kicking him when he is down. I think what he did was deplorable but he went to jail for it (I don't care that he didn't go to jail for dog fighting, that is just the legal system's way of harrassing him).

I am curious to see what fantasy Obamalamadingdong has for Vick today. that guy really has it bad for Vick. Of course, he isn't the only one, I'm curious to see what fantasies people have for Vick in general, you know who I'm talking about, the Vick Bashers, they'll be here soon.

Vick used to fight dogs. But after serving time, all you are going to hear him say is...

"I said WHAT WHAT, IDB"
"I SAID WHAT WHAT! IDB"

I think it was ridiculous for that judge to force Vick to show up in his court just to say yes I am guilty. Vick could have made that guilty plea from prison via secured video conference. However this pompous judge wanted to see Vick face to face. Why? Because he likes wasting tax payer dollars to serve his own ego.

This is probably like a little mini vacation for Vick. He's going to Surry to get his hand slapped. And the prosecutor there is trying to save face.

This is to all of you armchair judges. You know the old saying...Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time. This is Virginia law. If you don't like a law, legislate to have it changed!

Vick rightfully faced the Judge in person. I hope the money to transport him came out of Vick's pocket. Vick certainly doesn't deserve preferential treatment. He's a "has been" as far as playing professional football, or at least this is one person that will definitely be yelling "boo" in the grandstand!!! Actually, I wouldn't even support a team that would pick up this sorry scoundrel. We have a lot of talented young men w/o criminal baggage who deserves the chance. Vick is not a person for young children to look up to.

God Bless America!!

I think the reason that Poindexter does not want a trial is that he was a freqent visiter to the dog fights. Remember he did not want to continue the investigation and kept putting off a search until the feds said enough is enough. Makes you think ? as for Vick he needs to get on with his life and not be so worried about playing Football as it probably won't happen unless he goes to CFL, as Goddell will most likely say No to reinstating Vick.. Good Luck Mike Vick in whatever you have in your future and I hope you really do care about what you did and know it was wrong.

Okay. How can Vick plead guilty to fighting the dogs but not guilty to animal cruelty? That doesn't make sense. As far as Mr. Poindexter's comments on the new about not bringing charges earlier and people who didn't know him commenting and he thinks it was "racial", my dear sir, this had nothing to do with race. Actually what it did do, is make it appear as if you were involved with either turning your head knowing the fights were going on or attending the fights yourself. You could have been from any background and that is what it would have looked like to me anyway. Also, I think bringing Vick back to Virginia looks like exactly what it is, getting him back home. He didn't need to be here to plead. That is very obvious. Somebody wanted him home and he is home. Now what? The public cannot help what happens to him. Some obviously want him to be free and like him a lot. Some want him to be behind bars forever. No matter what, he is not a good person. He is a bad man. He is a very big bad man. If football puts more money back in his hands, he will once more be a very rich, big bad man. Is that what we really want?

With money comes POWER. We know how many things can happen with power. We also know what happens when you are powerless. Vick should earn a living but the living he was earning was way too much for him to handle. He couldn't handle it. It went to his head evidently. A lot of people can't handle that kind of money. Look at the lottery winners. We've all heard some of their stories. Some are sad. I don't know if they are criminal and mean spirited though. I do know money is the root of all evil. Shucks, I have relatives who would and have sold their souls for a $1.00.

Unfortunately it comes out of tax payer dollars. He won't have to pay a dime. He was flown through JPATS from Kansas to Virginia. Then he will be flown back. This was a waste of tax payer dollars.

NOT a waste of tax payer dollars when tax payer dollars go to show what a jerk and animal abuser truly deserves. The slut needs to go DOWN just like any abuser. If he beat his wife, or any of you, you would all pay to see justice done. HE is no different.

He was flown to Virginia from Kansas. He plead guilty for the dog fighting Charges but not to animal cruelty charges. Because of this plea agreement he will not spend any extra time in jail. So tell me how this was not a waste of tax dollars? If you want to be angry be angry at the prosecutor for not doing his job.
