LI Man Charged With Raping Girl He Met On Myspace

Suffolk County police have arrested a 20-year-old man who is accused of the second-rape of a 13-year-old girl he met on the Internet site MySpace.

Police say the girl chatted with Zachary Rapoza online for six weeks before he picked her up at her Suffolk County home yesterday morning.

According to Newsday, police say the man took the girl to his Bayport home and raped her. Rapoza has been charged with second-degree rape, unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a minor. He is expected to be arraigned today. Read more
