Could Letter Clear Convicted Killer Wayne Oxley?

That little knob, Oxley, for committing a murder in the burg. There is almost no crime here, but that's because it is pretty much an all white area.

I lived in the ogdensburg area when the crime supposedly happened, I believe that Wayne Oxley is innocent, even through everything, and I hope one day that he will be let free. It was so hyped up because its a small town and barely has any crime, and now that the DA has something to run with, she ran as far as she could with it....

I don't think Wayne did it. I am suspicious about Mr. Shannon though, after all, he had a history of using baseball bats on people!

Rumor here is that Shannon is in the witness protection program and it's a cover-up because he was a known informant for YEARS!!!
I don't know Oxley but following the caes, he didn't do it!

oxley was railroaded and our criminal justice system made into a farce with this so called trial. the police screwed up the investigation, followed improper procedures, denied oxley the right to an attorney and the press made a saint of drug dealing (to teenagers) tricky. no blood was found on oxley or in his home- none. how can that be possible? Oxley had nothing to gain, no motive. Shanon was a pd informant for years and he didnt just burn to death he was murdered by the murderers. If oxley's stupid defense attorney didnt cross examine shannon at the arraignment then oxley would be free today.

first of all if the guy is innosent then he should be set free but as for the comment "there is no crime in the burg because its an all white area " You must have been asleep for the past ten years. cuz there is all kinds of crimes happening in the burg.

He did not do it. he is not a killer!

i do not think that wayne oxley did it seein the whole town is crooked the dumb police dont do shit right they would rather be lazy and work on how they feel not matter what the cops are pigs and they have to take some one who was fucked up on drugs and in this case it is like kickin a dog when its down so they never wanted to get off they lazy assees and figure out who really did it u think they would know with all the info they put in the paper about who really did it "u come from a crooked town dumb stuff always happens"

thats my dad and everyone should know hes innocent!! if hes a loving father then why would he do such a horrible thing like this? knowing that he is somewhere where he dont belong makes me and my lil brother wondering if were ever gonna see him again!! and i hope to god that he gets his appeal. ogdensburg police are just a bunch of crooked pigs and everybody that lives there can tell you the same. those 2 black guys from the city had something to do with it(i know they did)and they framed my dad for it. i love my dad more than anything and i miss him so much. i wish the community could help out bc i know they would be a great help. i thank all you guys for supporting him bc it really makes me feel confident about this whole thing.

My son is innocent, and that is not just from a mother heart. The proof that they (police) had made not sense. There was not blood on him or in his house. His finger print was on the bat but it was his to begin with. There was one print at first unkown then if I am not mistaken identified to someone they said no involved. The main witness dies in a strange house fire. But it had nothing to do with the case. I am 64 & may never see my son again. Wayne if you see this I LOVE YOU. TO WAYNE III & TYLER I LOVE YOU & MISS YOU.

he did not do it! i cant stand that people keep saying he did it. He is a good man and I dont understand why our family has to go throuth this.Wayne might have made some mistakes but he could not do this.We love Him and We miss him

Wayne, Didn't do it and the cops and their nonsense and judge richards and his bs crap he pulled at the trial surely didn't help. Just a big screw job and used wayne as a fall guy.
Richards has nothing to talk about with anyone coke head, I guess Richards, Andy wells and others forgot about pictures of them selves snorting coke and smoking marijuana when Richards was just a lawyer then and Andy Wells just starting out as a cop. Their just lucky the picks haven't surfaced dearlers holding them.

I have heard a great deal about you from Wayne and he will be so pleased to hear that you have posted these comments about him. We talk once a week and it will warm his heart when I tell him. It would mean the world for you to drop him a line. Take care and keep the faith. Hopefully the decison on the appeal will be rendered shortly and this nightmare will be on its way to a happy ending.

When will the nightmare end for the Trickey family?

I grew up in a town nearby and have many relatives in the burg . From what I have read I have to go with the guilty crowd . Some of family mentioned why would he do it , he's a loving father . Well, how about drugs for just a start . Not just drugs , but the kind of drugs he was ingesting , and probobly still is from the news of drugs getting into prisons . NY needs stronger drug and alchohol laws . A lot of ny er's just don't seem to get it . Too many repeat offenders . Ya gotta learn ! As far as I am concerned 25 years is not enough for taking another person's life . I think ny should have the death penalty . If they did , he would be history now . He got off lucky in my opinion . I do feel for his family , but not for him . I feel very sorry for the victims family . It's really a no win situation . It's just another sad story from all the drug bs . If any of you learn anything from this , it ought to be about the dangers of drugs . When I grew up in that area in the late seventy's , you had your basic low grade mexican pot which really was pretty harmless and cheap I might add . The little yellow jacket pills were just getting popular . Chemicals -stay to hell away from them . I used to smoke a little weed and drink in those days . I had fun but it didn't do me any good either . I am against all drugs and driving while drinking for sure . If pot was what it once was , I think it would be ok . But like everything else , people had to screw with it . Is it strong now , you betcha ! One hit and it's all over these days . It's just way to potent now . I remember about fifteen years ago , when I was still stupid I went back up north for a while . Decided to get a little weed . It came with some funny looking mushrooms in it . Not good . That was the very end of the drug game with me . I forget what drugs were involved in this one , but if I remember right , it was chemicals . I know it can't be easy knowing your relative is serving 25 but he's gotta pay , and again I say he's getting off way to easy . He's damn lucky .

Despite the facts many of you claim to know the very real facts are that Tricky was involved with many bad people, and selling drugs. Court testimony bore this out. No evidence or traces of Tricky's blood could be found in Wayne house nor on his person. This is not possible on earth! What was done to tricky would have left a trail of blood all Waynes clothes, body, shoes, hair, sinks or washing machines etc. Viable testimony and evidence clearing Wayne of this crime was dismissed or ignored contrary to the rules of evidence. One other person John Shannon, is involved in this and he cant be put on the stand. Beyond a reasonable doubt is the standard to convict and that standard was not met. It couldnt be met in a proper trial. I feel for the Tricky family but someone need to recognize that Tricky was a drug dealer, there are any number of suspects for this crime, the real crime is that the police never even tried to find one other suspect. They just took John Shannons word for it.
