My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I hope she recovers fully. What happened to the individual that was fleeing?

This is a horrible story...but one that should be published. I hope that Mrs. Moyers and her occupants recovers completely. This exact type of behavior is why it is so important to drive offensively and wear safety belts! When accidents occur between two or more vehicles, there are ALWAYS innocent victims that suffer. Police are given the responsibility of "PROTECTING THE GENERAL PUBLIC." In my opinion, high speed car chases are NOT acceptable. Officers should get license plate information and ask fellow officers to help follow and pursue the "criminal." The criminal will eventually have to stop for one reason or another and can be apprehended at that time with much less chance of injury to innocent victims. Remember to wear your seat belt and keep your children properly restrained when traveling. If a child is not in a car seat and is injured in an accident, then the driver of that car will be charged. If a child dies, manslaughter charges will be made! BUCKLE UP. ARRIVE ALIVE.

I have wrote Margret on this issue on my "Myspace" page. She is still recovering. She will never be the same again. My prayers go out to her and the others injured. Police should always know when to disengage when there is a chance of getting bystanders hurt or killed. Police knew who she was and where she was going. There was no need to take things to that level. As for the woman they where chasing, she's still in jail from what I heard.
