Ha,Ha,Ha,HaHaHa,HaHa,Ha,Ha,ha, ha,ha,ha,ha,he,he,he,he,he LMFAO. I bet those HS folks are pissed off now. That is some funny sh!t right there. Some of those HS people probably had to go to the hospital for heart problems after they didn't get what they wanted. 22 bullets. place one right behind the ear of everyone stray dog out there. That is the best way so solve the problem.

I found it interesting when Ms. Schwartz was testifying, she was first asked "What is her function with the H.S.?" then it was rephrased to "What WAS her funtion with the H.S.?" What's up with that? Is she not part of the H.S. anymore?

This situation is too sad to be a laughing matter for me. I feel sorry for the animals at our shelter. It's not their fault that they ended up in St. Francis County where the local HS is more interested in how much power and authority they have than they do about doing what's best for the animals. It's sad and I'm pissed about it! Again, I encourage those who do care about the animals at the shelter to distance yourselves from the FCAHS or expect to be held accountable for their mindless actions.

From what it sounds Pat Hollowell dropped the ball and Roy was expected to pay the price. Roy was sick and couldn't go into work and Hollowell VOLUNTEERED to take care of things that day. They both agree'd on it. She was unable to fullfill that agreement and never let Roy or anyone know so that someone else could fill in. All it would have taken was a phone call. Why didn't Hollowell tell anyone she wasn't going to be able to cover the shelther that day? The blame falls on her for volunteering and not holding up her end of the bargin.

I'm glad you think so but on what grounds do you base your statement since everything I've said about this situation has been exactly right.

I love Pat. I hate to hear this was all kinda her fault. I mean she does do a lot at the shelter.....

The fact that she failed to care for the dogs after she said she would is a minor issue in my mind. Although she could have called someone else to feed them, believe it or not those dogs can go 24 hours without food. It's not the end of the world and I'm sure most of them had gone much longer without a meal before being caught by animal control. The real issue is the fact that she was responsible for bringing criminal charges against Roy related to this very incident knowing that it was really her fault! If she didn't break some law by doing this, she should have! It certainly reflects her lack of integrity and low moral values.

I agree. She's been very giving of her time to the dogs and shelter. She has always been very nice to deal with. But..... I agree with Banned that she showed the lack of character for having charges filed on Roy. That said. I wouldn't doubt for one second that she was coerced into filing charges, and sticking to them, by a few other members that are well known to be very anal about issues at the shelter and who have a LOT more to lose if there is ever a law suit over this.

I agree. The way everyone has been talking I thought things were much worse than that! I'm sure the dogs were getting fed more at that time than before they got picked up. I also agree that if Roy was charged with cruelty she should have been too. It would be the same difference, right?

The details that came out of this trial should cause the entire community to recognize the need for the city to part ways with the FCAHS. The FCAHS members that are making the decisions for the organization think they can do whatever they want in the name of helping animals. While helping animals is a noble cause, they have clearly shown that they are more interested in power and authority than actually doing what's best for the animals at the shelter. If they are willing to disgrace a man publicly by charging him Animal Cruelty when they knew he was innocent, show no regard for the court's time or the city's resources, and disenfranchise the entire community by assuming ownership of the shelter that we, as tax payers, built...what won't they do? Is there any line they wouldn't cross to get what they want? Who the hell do they think they are? I find their actions offensive to me personally and to the community and I vow to no longer support businesses in FC that have ties to the FCAHS.
I agree

Is there anyone in town that you do not bitch about? You seem to have all the answers. Yet you sit on your ass kissing everyone's ass on Topix. You just changed your opinion four times depending on who said what right before you. Weak!

If you don't like my opinion the you are more than free to go outside and play a nice long game of "Go-Fuck-Yourself.

I see your nasty attitude hasn't changed a bit. If you want to go head-to-head again just keep it up. I welcomed you back graciously, but was met with nothing but attitude. You must actually be about a 15 y/o in the constant state of PMS-Pre-Monster-Syndrom. But we all really know you are a 45 y/o homesexual male who's desperatly wanting to be female. The only way you can manage to do it is by using a female username and pretending to be one online. What a sad person.

Dude...Get on some hormones or do something because you suck. And not just head.

Calm down there She Devil, it's only words, they can't hurt you. When someone has something bad to say about you, don't get your blood pressure up. That's what they want you to do, just stay calm kill them with niceness, and the rest will fall in place. There are some people who get on topix to stimulate their minds, and you are one of them, there are some who does not care whether their minds are stimulated, just as long as their mouths are. Don't let anyone discourage you of how you feel, or what your opinions are. Everyone is right when it comes to an opinion, because that is simply what it is...an opinion- how you view things.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Aries

The behaviour of somebody around you (most probably your partner or family member) may be rather irrational today. Alternatively, a surprise involving one of these people is possible. Try to keep your domestic plans reasonably flexible to cover all possible outcomes. The focus is on improving your relationship with your partner or with friends today. Any outings should go very smoothly.
