Man suspected in thefts across 7 counties

A Waynesboro man suspected in thefts in seven counties has been arrested. Derrick Taylor, 30, was taken into custody Thursday at the Smith County Sheriff's Department by Jones County deputies and transferred to the Jones County Adult Detention Facility.
