1 Is anyone missing something here? Money-laundering is a CRIME!!! It requires an arrest and a trial! The money is still forfeit but you don't let the money-runner go, for crissakes!!!! If one of the big drug lords happened to be passing through Tenaha, and was just dumb enough to get pulled over , and found with a couple of mil on him, wouldn't he be arrested and turned over to the FBI on the spot?? Of course!!! So why are none of these people been turned over to the FBI and questioned about their involvement in the drug trade? The answer is simple.....BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT MONEYLAUNDERERS!!!! And the police know it, too. THat's why they are targeting non-white people passing through that look like they might have some cash. They are using the law to line the city's pockets and the poor innocents they rob are supposed to feel lucky they didn't go to the federal pen. And ther cops and DA can conveniently fall back on the argument that well, who says they weren't? Plausible deniability. And the poor SOB's they robbed were prob intimidated into not talking to anyone about their little foray back in time when only whites had rights. One must wonder what would have happened if someone had stood their ground and said "You charge me with a crime or let me go with what I came with! And if you do charge me, I want to call my attorney!" Would they have been conveniently "disappeared"? There needs to be a federal investigation and as many people who have passed though Tenaha one way and emerged the other way a lot poorer need to come forward. The police department, and the DA, and the mayor need to answer to these charges and if need be, stand trial. |

You can not believe everything you hear on CNN and everybody is entitled to due process including the ones charged here by the people that passed through Tenaha the officer they charge with this was BLACK. Lets let the justice system do its work before we convict. There is always two sides at least to every story and you have only heard one. Why in the world does it seem eveytime something comes up the race card is used? We do not live in the past and we should not be held responsible for the days of slavery so the race card charge needs to stop. We even have a black president but yet the race card is still used so this is totaly out of control and not true. Everybody should be judged by their actions not others remarks or comments of what they believe happened.
