Seeking to avoid a very public battle with his former colleagues on the City Council, Mayor Pro Tem Myron Lowery on today delayed his nomination of a new city attorney until a court hearing is held Wednesday.

If the rule was that he could not fire the attorney without the vote of the council, why did he not follow the rule. Stupid mistake....and it was his first act as interim mayor. No one seems to care about the rule of law anymore.
