It was a crossover wreck involving a woman in a Ford Taurus and a semi. The traffic was backed up all the way past Henryville -- more than 10 miles. WHAS has some more info and photos: http://www.whas11.com/news/local/stories/whas...

Traveling through the area Monday, I was unfortunately backed up in the after-math of this accident. I am saddened to hear the news of a fatality. I had a feeling that it was a serious accident. After waiting for about 45 minutes, at the time over eight miles of travelers included, I turned back across the median and went to Scottsburg (31) and rerouted to reach my destination in Illinois. After realizing the tradgedy, I am just relieved my family and I made it on our trip safe! My heart goes out to the family of the victim.

thanks Steve, funny I am also from Bloomington Indiana! Coincidence huh? We finally turned around and went through the Henryville exit to 31 to come home. Thanks for the link, wow that was horrible. I wish her family well in the difficult days.
