I have an insiders track to KWQC and the truth is, we will not be returning. It appears the QC weathermen are on bad behavior mode and Mr Swails is the latest victim to fall to the infidelity bug. He's gone...
Kastor's next, not to his infidelities of a year ago but to retirement.
Pretty soon, we'll all be tuning into the Weather Channel. Wow...

Weatherman Terry Swails on leave from his TV job
I'm in good health. That's not an issue. There are some (other) issues I have to deal with right now.
Q: What has happened to Terry Swails, the chief meteorologist at KWQC-TV? He was gone the entire month of December, then came back for just a short while before disappearing again.

Actually, he was let go because of money. I am inside KWQC and it was not ala Maitland (infidelity with a coworker). He was brought in a mere hours before his contract re-upped and told he is on indefinite leave, but to clean out his desk. He was expected to take a pay cut to keep his job (like Mickle and Sharon).

Your are right to say that the people at the top of KWQC are out of touch. The on air people we have grown accustomed to over the years made it what is and should be continued to be rewarded. You just don't plug in anyone for these jobs and I've talked to many people who have stopped watching and have gone to 4, 8 and 18. Good people like Terry Swails won't be out of work for long.
