You know, this just goes to show how immature, and ultimately un-professional, these guys are. IN this day and age it does not take a rocket sicentist to know that having materials like that is just not a good idea. I think LaBlanc had every right to settle this issue with a suit, since the departments leadership seemed to take its sweet time "investigating" the incident. But I also think its bad on her part that her child had access to the bunkrooms in the station. Most departments, including mine, have very strict policies in place on station visits by family membvers, to include not allowing them into the sleeping areas. Since that wasnt mentioned in the article, I think the department needs to seriously consider developing and enforcing one.

its rediculious having women as firefighters anyway. women and men are different not the same, porn aside, they do not think the same either. its just another unecissary stress mixing genders up like that and obviouly a lot of the women are just trouble makers eager for whatever they can get, extra sick leave, maternity leave and lawsuit leave. its just demoralizing is all it is. if men and women are the same, then lets eliminate all womens only schools and integrate the NFL. if anything, it sure dosent seem like a friendlier or safer country since all this PC gender nutralism took over so dogmatically.

Not all of them, but the vast majority. Any women that work with them should know that. I once had a friend who was sexually promiscuous. In fact, she was a nymphomaniac who was being treated for the disorder. So so many of the guys she slept with were *married* firemen. I lost so much respect for the profession. I would not allow my daughter to marry a fireman or to work as a firefighter.
