Having lived in Pacifica from 1956-1988 I was familiar with the Castle and the owner, Sam Mazza, a San Francisco painting contractor. The story that I had heard was that the elder McCloskey had the castle shipped from Scotland and assembled there in Salada Beach. We enjoyed many get- togethers at the castle over those years.
Now living in Tucson, AZ we don't see much of the ocean. |

Love pacific, the castle is one of my favorite places from my childhood.

What a wonderful treat to, finally, visit the castle. Not only is the tour of it fantastic, the view, the art deco pieces, but the history is so interesting! A very must and for those who like to "feel" the former residence, a fun treat. I did.
