Just recently my home was broke into by a couple of idiots, who I personally know and have grown to hate.Well apparently in this county if you RAT out people to the law you get a free pass to do anything you want.I for one am sick and damn tired of this crap.I went to our so called County Attorney and he told me that I would have to have video footage, blood work or DNA,and finger prints of these idiots before he could do anything. He even went as far to say that if these people were picked up that they would be on the street the very next day.Now I wonder why Mr.County Attorney told me that.

Dear p. o'd.
Unless you actually saw them and have at least one other witness that also saw the crime being committed, you wouldn't have a case. If they were found to have something belonging to you in their possession, the only charge would be receiving stolen property.
I know it is frustrating to know who the criminal is but can't do anything about it except become a criminal yourself by taking the law into your own hands. Revenge may be sweet for the moment, but it follows you for a long time...and what if, years later you found you had self-convicted the wrong party?
The Bible is adamant that every word be established by two or three witnesses. God (Yahweh) did not destroy the cities Sodom and Gomorrah on Lot's word alone, did He? Two angels were sent to see if the situation was as bad as reported, isn't this so?
There is a criminal element amongst us, sometimes working alongside us, sometimes living next door or even in the same household. That is one of the drawbacks to a "free society" that doesn't give in to lynch mobs. It is hard to maintain a balance between anarchy and thuggery. The innocent often must suffer the offender.
The question is, will you do what is right or follow your emotions? Does wrong + wrong=right?

Did U really expect anything more? Did U forget that U live in Russell County Ky? Where the judges listen to the prosecutor and the prosecutor does whatever he wants. Where U have to have the "Right" last name to not be considered trash around here.No matter how good you live your life.Where murderers walk free unless you are a member of the "Upper-Class".Where the churches and courthouses have more criminals in them than the jails do! I have lived in this county for my whole life, and all the changes have been for the worse. For instance there were 2 things for kids to do on weekends 1. Go to the movies 2. Go skating, now 15-20 years later there are 3 things for kids to do 1.Go to the movies 2.Go skating 3.Go to miniIndy(where it takes at least $100 for 2 people to do something for a couple of hours). We have a gigantic, beautiful lake,But name 1 spot in Russell County set aside for swimmers?(a safe place for parents to take their kids swimming)? Bet you can name 20 boat ramps. Why can't we have a Holmes Bend here? I wish the BigWigs would realize that not everyone in this county is rich,or elderly.I guarantee that the burglaries and other petty crimes also drug use by our young people would decrease if all the kids had something to do with their free time.Times have changed and kids are no longer happy growing up like Huckleberry Finn. They will all end up leaving and going to bigger cities and poor old backwoods Russell County will slowly but surely disappear!

ive lived here a short time, but even i have understood a few quick facts about this place: the churchs are a money scheeme, the court house wants your money at any means nessasary, and the "community decision makers" want the place to be a retirement village and frankly dont care if the rest come or go, but theyll sure get you for what they can while your here.
