Families of the wrongly accused

My heart goes out to all the families that have a member or more than one member in their family that has been wrongly accused of something they didn't do.
It saddens me to read on these forums, and hear on the news the terrible things that have happend in families as a result of someone being to quick to point a finger.
A family very close to me has been going through hell for several years over something they had nothing to do with. One member was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. The athorities have worked to try and keep the family's name out of the media but has been unsuccesful do to the accusing family being so persistant with calling the media every time they hear a rumer. Fact is there is no evidence to support their claim. I have sat by and watched as peole I care about have been drug through the mudd and it saddens me when the younger members of that family have to be harrassed by hateful people who only think of themselvs. What kind of message does this send to the younger generations.
If you get a hunch torture the hell out of someone... make them suffer until you find the truth and then say.. Oh, my mad.. all better right... wrong...

Are you afraid to put your dear friends name on this post, then if you did would it make you look quilty, I think I know who you are talking about, believe me they are quilty,the truth will come out soon, and then you can really feel for them.

Bystander, thankyou for yor concern but the family I am speaking about lives in Atlanta Georgia. I apprecaite you concern but I think you have me confused.

Their name isnt' of importance here this is ment to be for the families as support as they are going through a tuff time. You seem like someone who would be hasty in pointing a finger at the wrong person. Please don't post here again.

I believe they are talking about a farm somewhere in springfield/Cross Plains.. but I am not sure...
I started this thread for the exact purpose as stated and now there are people coming on here and accusing me of being someone that they apparently know.. so I will say this
If there is anyone who would like to vent on the topic originaly stated please feel free.. but so far those of you who have commented on here please... stop... I don't know what you have talked about....

Who... I have made a few post there because I feel sorry for the family being accuse I can't help but think "What if they really don't know where those children are" and I feel for them . I don't know what that has to do with anything I still don't live on a farm?

Im sorry your posts seem to have been hijacked from people from the other board. I know how you feel to people that have been wrongly acussed (sp?). I know it seems that we seem harsh sometimes over there, but we would honestly LOVE to find the girls too! It's aggravating for us too. If someone would find them, we would all be happy... trust me! And I can't say how I would act if it were my son that was missing... but I do know that it's really not helping anything for them to yell at us and carry on. My family has lived here forever and we are well known in the community. Not perfect by any means, but who is? The fact is that we really don't know anything! That's what is so frustrating. How long is this going to on with the finger pointing? Sorry to vent, just seemed like a good spot to speak my mind.

Feel free,please.. That is what this tread is for! I do hope for your families sake that the girls are found I know how hard it is. I have heard a few things here and there and I do think that if there were anything else to tell that someone would have spoken up.
I don't think your family acts guilty by no means. I think that the young man involved is keeping his distance because no matter what he were to do it wouldn't help. Keeping his distance is a good idea in my book. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. and hopefully your nightmare will be over soon.

Thanks for listening!:) Bud is my little brother (he was Jenn's boyfriend). I'm only in my 30's, but I tell you what... this has opened my eyes as far as judging people. It's been so long since they have been gone that I just don't know what to do or think anymore. I just know in my heart that it's not possible that my brother or family did anything criminal or cruel. My mom still has pictures of the baby on her bedroom mirror. People just don't get it that just because we were'nt blood related to them doesn't mean we didn't love them (do love them). We just aren't "allowed" to say anything because we get attacked.

Amy,maybe you should call the family of the missing and talk to them personally, and all of you would not look so guilty,,that would be in all yous best interested, and maybe you all could figure out what happened to the girls, just maybe you know something that would put the pieces together,, just a thought

Amy you sound like a sweet lady who cares about her family!!! Now im sure you know why Jenn's mom wants answers, because all anyone ever has is family and part of her family is missing. Give her a call see if you two can put the puzzel together. Amy that is what any loving mother would do.

Well Amys Friend, How would you feel if it was your daughter and granddaugther missing im sure you would want as many answers from anybody who could help at all. What can a single phone call hurt if her family is innocent right?

I would want answers yes but I think that amy's family as answerd what they can and should now be left alone. The Wix family will not be satisfied if Amy, Joe, Joey or Cindy call and still have the same truthful answer of "I don't know what happened" what good will that do. Well I don't hate anyone and it would be awful if joey and the benton family knows nothing and I am completly conviced that Kathy and all her family would love to say we were wrong and just have the girls but it's no that easy when all you know is what was going on in that house right befor they vanished.so sometimes you do have to understand what things look like and how they come across one question amy truely did joey change is story or has it always stayed the same? there are so many unaswered questions why not answer them no one wants to hate anyone and you were right your family is well known in the county is that why the police haven't persued the answer cuase maybe they could prove joey innocent.. who knows.. I just pray that we all have peace and the girls...

So you think saying that they were wrong will reverse the wrong and hurt they have already put on their family... It will be sad when they world finds out they really know nothing and the wix family has tortured them for all this time...

I don't know what or how it could all be reversed but I can tell you all they want is to lay thier babies in a real grave and to know what happened. But the difference here is the Wix family has a reason to feel the way they do your family was the last to see either one of them alive and now they act like they shouldn't be the ones being looked at?? If you was in Kathy's shoes would you fight with everything you had to find out what happened?? I just don't understand why you guys are being so hateful okay maybe to they family but AMY you aren't even taking up for the girl who's missing and proably dead!! that's crazy to me and I don't hate you you joey or cindy or any of you god say anger but sin not!!

First off... I am not a benton, secondly who they hell are you to say that the bentons KNOW anything.. I mean come on.. they have said over and over again that they don't know where they are.... If they don't know they can't answer so leave them alone... baggering them is why they have gotten so hateful they have nothing to tell...
