Robinson is worse than Leftwich or Martin because not only is he attempting to aid a cop killer he is siding with those that he swore to protect the public from. He is a trader to his department and the public. If he is doing it now an investigation should be opened to determine if he did it while he was an active member of the police department and if so revoke his retirement and criminally charge him. I hate that piece of shit. I hope the entire law enforcement community turns their back on him. I am not a police officer just a citizen that loves this community.

Murder is murder I agree but he sure as heck wasn't undercover. He was out cheating on his wife with his girlfriend and went to buy drugs for his own use and dropped his badge out of his wallet and things went to heck real fast. This is the story that I have heard from cops in the county but they sure as heck won't testify to that because a bad man killed a cop. The murder should recieve a death penalty in my opinion but the cop sure as heck is no innocent either.

I think that Chuck Smith was a officer hiding behind a badge . I am sorry he lost his life ,and to have a daughter left behind to find out on down the road what kind of officer her daddy was.I know as someone else said all cops are going to take up for him, because they do not want to get in trouble themself. As a good christian man as the newspaper ,and news reported a man would not be living with a woman and still married to another woman. One is not to live with a person until they are married .He may of been agood police officer ,and turned sour !!!!!!!!!!

Martin is a dumbass who I believe was acting as an informant and went down on a bad charge. He was riding with Smith with the police radio present before the buy. I'm sure Martin deserves to rot in jail, but not for Chuck Smith's murder.

On the other hand, I do believe Leftwich should go down if for no other charge than felony murder. Oh, and also for that weird SideShow Bob from the Simpsons hair he was sporting in his mug shot.

And ministers/priests should not molest children because they are "good christian men" but it happens. Who Mr.Smith lived with has not a thing to do with the fact that a low life dope slinger killed him. I somehow cant help but think that if you needed a police officer and Mr.Smith showed up you would have been glad to see him, not turn him away because he had a girlfriend and wasnt yet divorced.

You are sooo right about what a person should not do ,because they are to be a "good christian man" . It takes a very strong minded person to even think of being a police officer these days. I have to admire any police officer. I know losing a love one is a very hard to go thru . I just think things could of been done in a matter where a officer does not have to go into places ,and have a drink while trying to catch a drug head. All officers are in danger while trying to catch a drug head or just out doing his regular job . They should never have to go to a place where they sell drinks , and have one for them self. No officer should have a drink at a bar or any where when dealing with crazy people out there doing or selling drugs. Peoplw who sells drugs or do them care nothing about others, and think nothing of killing any one . I admire all police offiers .In Chucks place he should never of had a drink of any kind while undercover or not. Other police should always know when tings like this is going down .

I would like to know more about Smith's partner. Where was he when Smith was shot? Did he have a gun? Did he run away? Was he too drunk to do anything? Why haven't we heard more about this? Will we ever know Smith's true alcohol content? Beckley has gone overboard to make him a hero and will never admit he made mistakes.

one thing is when working narcotics you are always on call so if your out with your family and have a beer with your dinner you might have to go to work and i no police officers that drink a little while working undercover so when the shit head drug dealer wants you to use some of the drugs you can use that you dont mix drinks with drugs id rather see a officer drink a little instead of using cocaine or any other drug its just a dangerous job working undercover and sometimes you have to act like a shit head to deal with one
are you stupid

If a person weighing 170-189 drank 2 drinks over the course of 1 hour they would have a BAC of .05-.07 dependent upon what they ate, how fast their body metabolizes the alcohol, etc...

So for arguments sake, if Mr.Smith was out and had 2 beers with dinner he would have had a BAC of .05-.07 (which according to a register herald report it was .07). To me that doesnt say he was some drunk guy out trying to score a hit. How many people do you know that can drink 2 or 3 beers in 1 hour while just sitting around the house and you would never even think for a moment that they werent in charge of their faculties??

The BAC really is not a point that is going to win the case for Leftwhich, That fact remains that he killed someone. Even if that someone had been a crackhead trying score, that doesnt mean you can kill them.

Besides, what are your going to say,(ummm welll ummm do you be havin a husband?). And yes folks thats an inside joke that only police officers will know what it means....ohhhhh and you to Mr Robinson.

I thought that if you were issued a supeona that you had to testify no matter which side issues it! Why jump on Mr. Robinson if he is only going to testify and say the truth as he knows it when he is called to do so!!!

Do you know if his testimony is going to be because he was issued a subpeona or because he wants to testify for the defense?

Actually I don't know either way ...but regardless... he is only allowed to truthfully answer questions that are put to him and I think it is wrong to question his honesty and integrity to trash him every bit as much as it is wrong to question Smith's integrity. Don't get me wrong, I think the person who killed Smith should pay for the crime, no question of that or that he did it, but to trash Mr. Robinson because he is going to testify is every bit as bad in my opinion.

Marvin Robinson went to the defense he wanted to testify they didnt subpoena him it was his idea and another thing he did was donate money to the family to hire a lawyer for the COP KILLER and to thank he was a police officer for many of years and run for mayor last year the only thing i can figure out is Mr. Robinson is black and so is Leftwich so sad a retired police officer would do that Mr. Robinson was in the drug unit for years and a superviser and i have seen him drink a few drinks at Dicks Yaut Club and get called to work
