3 Killed in Putnam County Crash

About 12:30 this morning.

How sad...please tell me it was really an accident and that no one was drunk...what a shame for the families.

the driver was driving at an extremely high rate of speed and lost control..darwin winner!

The FHP said the 2004 Cadillac was traveling at a high rate of speed when it left the road, struck a tree and caught on fire.

The driver, 20-year-old Anthony McCaskill, and two passengers -- 18-year-old Derby Coring and 17-year-old Lamieh Thomas -- all died at the scene. Troopers said all three victims were Palatka residents.

2 0f the young men killed where from the same family ..what they did not tell you on the news is that another car had hit them from the rear and that is what caused the wreck . It takes a real jerk to make a comment about the poor tree. bet you would not think about the poor tree if it was a member of your family you jerk !!!!!

How rude for that person to say that poor tree... they have no respect for the people who lost their lives and their families.....all i have to say is karma is a bitch and it comes back times 3 anyone who thinks of disrespecting people should keep that in mind....how would you feel if you got a call one day that said your son or daughter was dead.... accidents like these show how precious life is and how you should cherish every moment and spend it with the people you love....and remember that you may get mad sometimes and say words you dont mean.....just remember you dont always get the chance to apologize or say i love you one last time before something tragic like this happens

Too gross. In 1963, I had to watch a drivers ed movie where a 1949 plymouth ejected the driver just before he wedged between two trees and was cut in half. Guts everywhere. I just had to avoid 2 distracted drivers today. Wake up you jacka**

It is rumored they were being chased by the girlfriend/wife of one of the men in the car when they crashed.

If they were being chased by the girl friend/wife they had to be real scared of her.

bill, moy motortrend magazine actually just did a story on all the classic drivers ed movies from the 50's-70's..i cam along to late for these things but good god some of the pictures and descriptions of the movies would have made me not only seatbelt myself but duct tape myself to the seat too!

As I read the comments I cant help but notice most people say I heard this, or they say... The wife of the victim driving is my cousin. No one really knows what caused the wreck but the 3 victims in the car, and my cousin, and GOD. So all of the he say and the she say needs to stop. Just pray for the victims family, and those that may have been involved

Unfortunately when these things happen the same stupid jerks get on here and say things that are unsympathetic and judgemental. You have to pretty much ignore them.

Well you all need to stop saying this and that about it cause the family, friends and the stupid ex-girlfriend that caused the wreck knows what already happened. so you all need to stop going by hear say and get your story straight. Cause the ex-girlfriend that made the other car wreck knows what happenend and she well get hers in court.And no it was not his wife that cause the wreck cause he was not married it was his ex-girlfriend.
