Odd, I don't recall anyone missing over the past few days...
Sad. |
LOL!!! |

That wicked crazy...

Why would you know if anybody is or isn't missing? Aren't you the same person who wants to sue because scientists found minute traces of drugs in the drinking water? I'm betting you're a democrat...just a hunch. |

It is now being reported that this girl knocked and banged on several doors at about 4 or so in the morning in the upscale area homes near where she was found. Well as far as I am concerned the people in those homes are far from upscale. So worried about themselves they have her blood on their hands also.,
How so self absorbed can one be? |
|
|
Why didn't anyone open their door? I agree with Linda.

If the public only knew about the runaways and missing people in this area, they would be shocked. Just go out onto the missing children websites. Females are 90 to 95% reported missing and a VERY high incidence of Hispanic females. I am afraid that the female population has become a "disposable commodity" for the human race. Like a tissue or condom, used once then tossed. Sad, since you all came from a female - your mother. |

As far as people knocking on doors, if you look at the news you'll see people being robbed at gun point while unloading their kids and cars by someone on a bicycle in Natomas. Take a look at Antelope, two men forced their way into a home while the garage door was open and ransacked the place.
Are you going to open your door at 4 A.M.? |
|
|
Yes I am and call 911 while I am at it.
I stick by my original post, if more people cared enough about another human being we would not have all the problems we do now. Self absorbed, self thinking,to worried about oneself is so sickning to me. Remember what the Words "Good Samaritan" means? It will all come around to those that help, and those that do not. What if it was your daughter and no one helped? |
|
Although I agree with you that we should help others I would hesitate to open the door at that time in the morning for anyone. Too many home invasions, too many mistaken identity shootings. I'm sorry but in this day and age you have to set principles aside and think about your family's safety first. When I was a kid I used to hitchhike all the time, would I do it now, no way. Times have changed, unfortunately not for the better. |

No, I said file a grievance, and I was just talking crap, cause I know it wouldn't do anything anyways. I guess I am naive, I thought when a person was missing they put a notice up on the news. My bad. |
|
I would have answered the door. Granted the 45 would have been in my hand but I would have answered the door.
Poor girl sounds like she died terrified. |

For those of us who live in Antelope and are familiar with the area, are you now worried about what kind of neighborhood you live in? I have lived in Antelope for 15 years and have watched it evolve from a small quiet town to a more roudy place. Nonetheless it is still a nice place to raise a family. I am sorry for the family of the deceased. Although I believe in selflessnes and would like to say that I would have opened my door, I was not placed in that situation and thus will never know. May God bless that grieving family.

Hello, all...
I am sorry to be a bother, I see that there was a follow-up to this story based on your posts, but I can't find it here or in the Bee. Could someone point me in the direction of the story, please? Thanks so much, AP |
