Two dead in what OSBI thinks was a murder-suicide

The Mommy was trying to leave the him and he would not let her. How is she an idiot when he shot her, know your story before you blame.

reno was a great person and far from an idiot. have people stop to think that maybe she was scared to leave because of threats he had to her.joey never did seem right to alot of people. i wish we could bring HER back and let him stay where he is! Yes she was, everytime I saw her she was smiling and always nice. I know a lot of people who will miss her and my heart and prayers goes out to her family!

Reno was a good person! And like many people have said the idiot is the one who pulled the trigger and in front of their son knowing that he would be there all alone!!! I was friends with reno about 4 or 5 years ago! I have lived in louisiana for the las 3 years but when we were friends and they were together I know then he made the comment a couple of times that he was going to kill himself when she would try to break up with him! Joey had some real issues and is nothing but a coward...there is really something wrong with him when he would shoot his girlfriend and sons mother right in front of his son and then shoot himself so he wouldnt have to pay for what he did!! And I know that joeys parents didnt like reno and wanted nothing to do with her but I think they should get some cahonas an step up and take care of there grand baby if renos dad cannot! People dont need to open their mouths when they dont know how things where in the beginning or in the end. I dont know how they were in the end but I do know how he was with her in the beginning!! You people need to grow up!! R.I.P Reno, you will be missed..everyone will remember you just the way you were, which was happy and smiling and trying to bring her friends up when they were down!! Reno was a good person.

Reno's friends and family read this and I am sur the last thing they need to read is some stranger calling Reno an idiot.....Reno was a sweetheart, she had a hug and smile for you every time she saw you! Know the facts before you speak, Ms. Judgemental!!

As a counselor who has worked with children and victims of Domestic Violence I will tell you that what will hurt this child the most is to hear these MALICIOUS, CARELESS, AND INCONSIDERATE STATEMENTS YOU PEOPLE ARE MAKING ABOUT HIS FATHER.

I knew both of these victims and that's what they are victims. I really don't think "Little Joey" ment to shoot Reno on purpose he was not a malicious person like that. I've had Joey in my home around my kids and he was a gentleman everytime. Reno was also a nice and very kind sweet person. I just think an accidental shooting occured and Joey figured he had no way out but to take his own life. They will both be very missed and we will be without two wonderful people in this world. R.I.P. Joey and Reno. Big Joey hang in there God is with your son. Reno's parents also hang in there God is with your daughter. Much respect and love to everyone affected by this tragedy my heart goes out to all of you especially the children.

WOW! There are quite a few people who need to grow up. There are innocent victims, the children involved, so have some respect and pray they never read or find any of this information. Have respect and let the deceased rest in peace.

I think the deceased are resting in peace and none of this is going to bother them one bit. as far as anyone else that reads this, they need to. the truth be known that the dopeheads are gone. Each day every men and woman end up killing their spouses for life insurance or they have a new man or new woman in their lifes, or they abuses their spouses. After watching OJ trail, I learned alot from this. Woman and the mens becomes jeloues over each other cus they cant see them have new people in their lives. Anger comes into them and thats when they think they nees to get them out of the way. They think if i cant have her or him no one will. Each spouses needs to let go. If you love her or him enough,let them go and start a new life with some one else.Theres more fishes out there in the sea.

I agree with this message right here more then any message on this forum. This is so true. These wifes stick up for there abusive husbands all the time. It really makes me sick how some men abuse there wifes. And yet when the police get there the wifes don,t want to file charges, either there to scared to are else they just want to keep them around for other things. At any rate i know this because I have seen this stupid stuff on the show cops all the time. Both woman and husband would be whinning and next thing you know the woman drops charges from her husband. Nothing worse then a abusive husband indeed...

You know what guys---no one knows and never will point blank. No matter how close, or who's cousin, or who's old friend....or who's baby girl blah blah blah---who ever you are--you do not know...and really can not place "true blame". Only they knew and they have passed and it is sadder than sad. Move Forward.
The message here from me...is for the living "wow--life sucks and sucks worse when you have problems!!" (Which they had apparently.)
This could be anyone--anyone we know, anyone we love, anyone we used to love...anyone we think we know...or even thought we knew. Anyone's son, anyone's daughter, nephew, or niece.
I am not sure that many folks even want to hear the real message that this crime SCREAMS and maybe I am wrong for offering what I believe it is, but here goes.
Life is hard, mental health and issues that go along with co-occuring problems in life make it harder....such as unhealthy relationships, drug use, domestic abuse/assualt, severe depression, anger, and even denial. All of these problems are VERY COMMON in Americans young and old, good and bad, white and black, rich or poor and they are REAL. A lot (not all) of you guys are guilty of owning some of these problems right now I consider you hypocritcs for talking as you do.
We will never know why any of this happened..it has affected rural small town Oklahoma, go ahead speculate, blame whomever...does not change a thing. I personally think it would be kind to stop blaming and start praying. I mean really do it--not just say hey I am praying for this family. BUT DO IT!!! How many mothers, father, innocent children, ex-wives, lovers, best friends...are SUFFERING from this--domino efect when people die?
This is tragic...the world is a cruel place lets not make it worse. I would encourage everyone who reads this to focus on what you can do to help yourselves or your LIVING loved ones who may or may not know what it is like to loose someone in a tragic event or who may have similar problems. They are out there--a dime a dozen, get out of denial and practice what you preach. I have experianced a few tragic events in my life and...it is never understood and let me tell you constantly trying to understand only hurts and consumes those who need to go on living.
Joey's children and Reno's children need to live and will need lots of help with this--young and innocent, tender and meek. Joey's parents need to live and need help doing this...loosing their only child, I am sure in no way would they support this... give them a break. Beautiful Reno's family needs to live, support them... do not divide these families further with comments of blame and anger.....let parent's grieve....let all that are affected by this event grieve, do not blame or punish the living in your grieving process.
YES!!! Grieving is a part of loss, but blame and placing it is for shallow people who need to really spend their time doing other things recovery based. We are not promised a tomorrow, we are not promised to understand. Pray today and live for tomorrow.
Learn from this...all who read. Hug your children, do not only listen, but offer true help to your hurting peers/friends/loved ones. Do not look the other way...I encourage you to refrain from acting in ways of cruelness to understand cruelness.

I feel sorry for any lady that has to go through such non=sence. I have seen in public one to many times of a husband even slapping and pushing his wife to the ground. Very sad. I know one thing nobody how mad I got I never would lay any finger on any lady unless it was self defence. This insurance killings are really getting out of hand these days.

I remember the o.j. trail very well and as I figured he would get off by jury. Now he gets into trouble in florida it seems no telling what he will do again someday. He almost didn,t get the job done as indications were the guy he killed struggled like hell to save his own life but o.j. as a former football player was just too big. My goodness that trail whent on for days in thankfully it,s long over.
