Tiger that killed woman was 100 lbs. underweight

I think that just because someone got killed doesnt mean that we have to kill another living creature. the reason that the tiger killed the women is because it was hungry which is her fault because she didnt feed him. im sorry that im accusing the women but im just saying people in general.

I agree with you. Tiger was hungry and food went in to the cage freely. Tiger eat food.

I think it is sad that this cat attacked and killed Cynthia but we do not have the facts and may never know what happened. The media often is not quick to get the facts. Was this tiger female or male? A 350-400 pound female is what a lot of healthy female Bengals may weigh. I have heard the cat was anywhere from 260-550 lbs in weight. I do not think the cat in the photo is 400 pounds. I would guess maybe 260-270lbs, but then again I do not claim t be an expert. I am just looking at the persons shoes and feet next to the body. It's not a huge animal. Again we do not have the facts yet.

Having spent much time around my cousin and her cats, even I knew that this particular cat was very aggressive and had been violent in the past. Cindy knew what she was doing and had worked with big cats as well as wolves, wolverines and other wild animals most of her life. Perhaps I am defensive because I'm her cousin, but she'd have given the animal to someone else if she couldn't feed him. It wasn't about her... it was about the animals. She apparently made a mistake and he someone unlatched the gate. He knew her... and knew he could get to her. As Rush Limbaugh says, "A tiger is a tiger." She died doing something she loved.... but we still miss her.
