what ever happened to Doug Grant?

Last i heard he got indicted for the second time, but that is all i have heard , did they find him guilty and sent to prison or did he not get convicted???

He is still waiting trial. His trial date is set for 10/22/2007.

Where is the trial? In Graham or Gilbert where
he committed the crime??? What is taking so long???

is he in prison right now while he awaits the trial?

His trial will be held in Phoenix.
I'm not sure why it is taking so long, but with all the motions that each side files, it takes a while.

No. He lives somewhere in Arizona.

I just heard that Doug's trial has been postponed until May 2008. I don't know why.

Doug is living in Pima Arizona, just outside of Safford Arizona.

I had found an aritcle sometime at the end of 2007. That said his next court appearence was to be in January of 2008, and that his attorney said that all of the proceeds were differnt from anything he had ever seen. I do not understand why it is taking so long. I am very interested in what happens.

Well in the case of Doug Grant the actual trial doesnt start until May,right now he is in pretrial setting the facts straight. I'm pretty sure that the standard which we americans hold ourselves to is that a person is innocent until proven guilty, so maybe we shouldnt believe everything we see in the paper and hear on the news. I have an idea, how bout forming your own opinion on the tragic case instead of believing what is being forced fed thru most of the media. And one final question for those of you who have children. Who do you think suffers in this case? I would remember that before making your next judgement on the tragic incident, remember the children who have to read and listen to your nonsence.

I absolutely feel for the children. I find it interesting that your name is "one who knows best". Are you related?Do you know him? I beleive he has family in your area, R u Them?

I agree 100%. All of the "evidence" is largely circumstantial. People want to believe the easiest thing. There are only two who really know the truth....Doug and God. I believe he is innocent. I would hate to see his family suffer if he were wrongly convicted.

I agree; everyone should give the guy his day in court before judging Doug Grant. His nutritional supplements have gotten a bad rap, but I happen to know they work great. In fact, I've seen a couple of people who were really sick who got better when they started on them. So, if he is guilty of the criminal charges it would be a real shame.

Just because Doug Grant has a family doesn't mean that he should be found innocent of a crime he has committed. The man's wife 'fell' off a cliff, barely surviving, then 'drowns' in a bathtub after Doug replaces the ingredients of his own supplements with a drug of his choice. Two weeks later, he married the 21 year old secretary of his company. There are so many facts to this case that no one knows about. Doug Grant is a shady, corrupt individual. His defense is a sham, his supplements are a sham...he belongs in jail.

I knew Mr Grant in my early teenage years, and he made a great impression on me and my family. I cannot imagine what his children are going through. I am very sad for the family that lost there daughter-. I am just grateful it wasn't me. And I'm not sure he isn't responsible

I also have known Doug since my teens, and if you know Doug, then you would know that he isn't capable of doing such a thing. He would never do anything to hurt his parents. He has a great respect for his mother & father and he wouldn't risk losing their respect.
Doug may have made some bad choices but that doesn't make him a murderer. As far as the fact that he remarried, he was divorced from Faylene for a time and he fell in love with Hilary. Even though he & Fay were trying to make a second go at it, he didn't stop loving Hilary. So, it seems to me that if it were you or I, we would likely do the same thing. Life goes on. And, you can love 2 people at the same time.
I pray that Doug's att. can find all the info he needs to prove Doug's innocence. And as for his company, his products were invented by him and others, so to say that they are a sham, is to claim that several Dr's are a sham too. I use his products and they are fantastic. Don't judge something you know nothing about.

Loving two people at the same time sounds like a motive.
Life does go on and the truth always comes out, it is something that can not be denied. However, life can contradict logic and ones belief making life stranger than fiction.

I think that Doug's current wife should be on trial. After all, it was her that couldn't leave a married man alone. She took money from him and befriended Fay all the while she was having an affair with him. Don't get me wrong, the man has a hand in it too. But, evidently this new wife has no class. HEADS UP LITTLE WIFE, HE DID IT NOT JUST ONCE BUT TWICE, HE WILL CHEAT AGAIN.

I have to wonder if you dated Mr. Grant. Did you go to school with him? You know him well enough to know he has an intense personality. He definately is a person you love & hate at the same time. I was lucky enough not to have dated him, but a friend of mine dated him for years. And he completely messed that girl up. She was very young, and he controlled her like a little puppet. And I can tell you this, he never was faithful to her. Not to her and not to anyone!
