Tornado did strike Ross County

Full story: Columbus Dispatch

The National Weather Service confirmed yesterday that a tornado touched down in southern Ross County on Saturday afternoon, when storms caused damage across a swath of south-central Ohio.

I live in scioto county, and my old man use to work at USEC, its great to know all the uranium is safe from storms! LOL They're enough freaky deer around that dang place! Yeah, many people fail to realize what exactly they did out there, does Cold War support mean anything! HAH!

Ross/Pike/Scioto Count, that is not 'south-central Ohio' That IS southern Ohio. As you travel down US-23, you travel through Ross, then Pike, then Scioto, and then you are in Kentucky!

Westerville -

When "south central Ohio" is used, it is referring to the "middle" part of southern Ohio. "Southern Ohio" is considered to be anything south of 70.

Southeast Ohio would refer to the eastern side of the state and the Galliplis area, while southwestern Ohio would refer to the Cincinnati and western side of Ohio.

Seeing as how you're from Westerville and not southern Ohio, you may not understand the difference in areas.
