I hope there will be an outrage on this. I work as A volunteer in investigations on animal abuse. What the officer did was in his right as a humane and a law enforcement officer. If Pender County refused to act in an emergency and the dogs and equines were in need Of medical help. Animal control must act and obtain a warrant to have to removed if owners don't act to have a vet. come out right then. I hope this will be investigated. The officer did what Pender County didn't do. Please everyone get behind the officer.

What punctuation? That's the longest run-on sentence I have ever seen on any post.

Used to be that those states south of the Mason/Dixon Line had the worst education systems in the nation. Nothing but a bunch of ignorant Hillbillies.

However, now the State of California ranks just above Louisiana and Mississippi for the quality of our education system.

Anyone remember when California was rich and Willy Brown was poor?

Also, Washington DC gives us the gift of an unfunded mandate that state government must cater to the lowest common denominator. Also, the federal government mandates (also without funding) that students must be taught in the language with which they are most comfortable with (bilingual rule). Thus, if you are looking for a teaching position in California and you do not have a working knowledge of Spanish, probability is high that you won't be hired for the job.
