6 New Swine Flu Cases In Oklahoma

I am shocked by the amount of confirmed cases because our school has so many kids out and their parents are telling everyone they have swine flu. I almost jump with joy when someone says their child has strep throat or bronghitis. It is such a relief that there are so many absent children due to something other then the deadly flu. And the fact that the parents are actually following rules and keeping the ill children at home is hopeful to stop the spread of everything.

6 new cases my a$$. They stoppoed testing in most cases because 99% of all tests were positive. Reporting that there are only 6 new confirmed cases is incredibly misleading.

y has it took so long for our government to notice the problem of swine flu bc swine flu has been around for years and now the government finally wants to help. i think its a big scared tactic to get us to push for obama's healthcare benifits but im not saying it isnt a real flu. just everyone is getting scared over something that has been here since 1918.

I also was told that most aren't testing anymore. Dr told me that within one month he had over 200 kids test positive for swine flu. So this is sooo wrong!

My daughter was told by her doctor that they aren't doing much testing and that if you've had or have the flu then it is probably swine flu because the seasonal flu hasn't really hit yet. She was sick for about three day's and has an annoying lingering cough.
Her place of employment sent out memo's not to come to work if you were running a fever but when she called in the second day still running a fever over a 100 she was told that she would loose her job if she didn't come in the next day. She's only had the job for a couple of month's so on the third day she went back to work...fever and all.

With it being a free to fire state, there isn't really much she could do I guess. That would be a horrible decision to make, I would be that person to loudly let the information be known, hahaa. "I have the flu, I have a high fever, and was forced to come to work so if you get it..." prob loose the job for that too but it would be worth it then.

Everyone reading this should take just a few short minutes and type in swine flu on youtube. If you care about you and your family, then please do this before you take the vaccine.

Did anyone bother to read the article? It was posted on May 11th, and stated that the 6 new cases were identified between April 23rd and May 7th. You're all commenting on very old news people!

It also doesn't have a rapid testing, it has to incubate for 5-7 days for results. So I get a kick when people say they just came from the ER and the dr tested them and said they don't have it. HHAHAAAA

the dr's are saying that if you have flu symptoms that its swine. they aren't testing. :( so you dont know for sure. there assuming.
