High School Shooting Brings Attention Back to Colorado

Sadly. the Officer who made the decision to conduct a forcile entry into the class room made a deadly mistake. Had he followed normal SWAT procedures there was a high likelyhood of apprehending the suspect and saving the hostages without force. We have always prided ourselves in the skills of a trained negotiator. Simply because the suspect stopped communications was not a red flag that the end was near. I feel sorry for the officer that made the call to rush the scene. God bless the young girl who was shot

I just want to say how sorry I am for the tragedy that happened at the highschool. I am from Montreal and we are still trying to cope with the aftermath of the shooting at Dawson College. I am so saddened that things like this happen. I am especially sorry for Emily's family. I cannot imagine anything worse than losing a child. My prayers are with Emily and her family and all the other victims that were involved.
