It is not posinous, My brother bought a similar type of beverage while in Japan. The Saki which he purchased contained a pit viper. This type of saki is called habu saki look it up on google. This man is just improving a drink and making it a little cooler to show to friends during a night of drinking.

So how come no one is complaining about cruelty to animals? Were the snakes killed before being placed in the bottles? Did the alcohol drown them?
I is not legal to sell 'medicine' OR alcohol without a license and medicine must be FDA approved. Poor snakes, very inhumane treatment and if you are dumb enough to buy this illegal brew, it would serve you right to be poisoned! |

I hate snakes and I sure as hell wouldn't ever think of putting my mouth to a bottle to drink with a snake inside. "No f****** way!" You couldn't pay me enough money to do that. Yuk!!!

Very smart comment D1Gal. How were these snakes aquired as an owner of a python I am partial to them so I would hope that using animals in this manner would upset some people. But I guess that if the animal isn't cute and fuzzy people don't care

I just killed a small snake today when I was mowing the grass. it was a yellow stripe snake about 20+ inches. scared the hell out of me. I'm one of those people who are scared of snakes. I rather kill it because I have dogs in my back yard. Just protecting my pets. I think killing them and making them as medicine isn't a cruelty to snakes. Snakes should be honored that we're using them as antidote/medicine. I've seen those alot in asia. Comparing to killing other animals and using them as fur coat is cruelty!!! I'll kick their a** if I see them doing that on the street.
