Man Accidentally Shots Timberwolf

One animal expert says it's only happened three times in the last 27 years. About a month ago, a Minnesota man shot a Timberwolf, in Olmsted County.

The body will be sent to a taxidermist - and it will be preserved and mounted at Whitewater state park - likely sometime in the next several months.

if this hunter is so experenced then why wouldnt he focus on what he was doing? timberwolf? farmers dog? wow lucky shot!

does anyone know exactly where this wolf was shot? our dogs have been really throwing a fit during the night latley, went outside last night and couldn't find anything, thought maybe wolfs travel in pairs?? don't know, anyway just wondering,, thanks!!

watch the animal planet, yeah they travel in packs! i've had coyotes and dogs have gone missing either with them or by them...
