my family and friends come up there twice a year. The terain is costantly changing and new trails to explore. I was there the weekend of the accidents. People just need to use their best judgement so we all can enjoy the hills. The accident was a very tragic reminder that no matter what kind of rider you are, atv and dirt bikes are dangerous and the town of Treverton is greatful enough to let us ride there for free!!!!!!!!!

I'm out there all the time and although I agree it changes alot I think the problem is the drinking, accidents happen yes but alcohol doesn't help. if you are going to be out there use your judgement and don't drink and drive or if you must which we know is hard around here take it easy at least, although I used to bring my kids out there, I now don't because I don't trust idiotic drivers that think they are invincible. These idiots are gonna be the ones to ruin it for everybody else. I go out for nice ride to get out of town away from everyone and to just enjoy the beautiful mountains, not to cause havok and destroy everything in my path

I am tired of hearing everyone complaining about the ATV riders. Accidents happen there is nothing we can do about it, for those of u that get mad because they have to take time away from their to rescue them they do they same thing when there is a car accident or fire it is part of their job. People are constantly complaining about them being in the mountains would u rather them in town trashing the place. I have been riding out there for 12 years. Granted there are a selective few drive like nuts, but it isn't as bad as u keep making it out to be. People just need to be careful and take their time out there. It does change out there day to day. Don't ruin it for us there isn't exactly much to do around this area that's all we got.

I have been going out there for 30+ years. Alcohol does play a factor. Including sober people trying to avoid an accident. If you come here be responsible. Respect the locals and respect the terrain and you will survive !! I am not only a spokesperson, but also a paramedic... And I stayed at a holiday inn express last night

Accidents DON'T happen and there is something that can be done about it!!!! An accident is something that could NOT have been prevented. That is why we call them crashes/collisions.
