A former boyfriend was in financial trouble. He asked me to help out with what amounted to a $778.00 loan to keep his utilities and for other expenses. I demanded a contract, which I received--signed by him and his sister. The loan was to have been paid in full by Nov. 9, 2007. A payment of $150.00 was made prior to the due date and nothing else has been paid.

Other than to stop being stupid, what are my options and responsibilities now, in order to get the rest of the money back? I am on a $648 a month fixed income and really need to get my money back.

Any useful advise will be greatly appreciated.
