In an attempt to understand something here. I would like to say that I think it is an absolute shame that the Tax Payers in the unincorporated areas of Newton County such as Lake and Lincoln Townships keep giving negotiation dollars to bring businesses to Incorporated areas and are simply being taken advantage of. Can some one tell me how this is happening, is nobody working towards economic growth and providing jobs for the people in Lake Village and Roselawn and WHY our Tax Dollars are being spent in Incorporated Towns? If Lake and Lincoln Townships bring in the just of Revenues to support the rest of the County and our Schools then why are the rest of these communities being given so much money and nothing is being done for the Northern Areas? A recent Enterprise Article stated the County has $24,000,000.00 , I think it's time to ask for what we have been giving for so many years, everyone else is. I am glad that it is an election year and I look forward to seeing some new faces. Congratulations to Churchill and Russell!!!
