all nelson county deed books should be allowed to be copied

i recently went to the nelson county courthouse to copy the deeds for my gggggrandfather and the county clerk became very rude and said i could not look at the deed books nor could i copy the deeds.we as genealogists should have the right to copy any and all deed books whether they are bound or not.under the freedom of information act and under the constitution of the united states all documents fall under the freedom of the press.we had traveled aqll the way from columbia,missouri to do genealogy research on my gggggrandfather only to be treated rudely in nelson county,virginia.i,ve contacted your governer and filed a complaint and sent an email to the freedom of information act council of virginia.i,ve also sent an email to the president of the united states letting him know that my rights were violated by the county clerk of nelson county,virginia.
i,m asking all genealogists to make their voices heard,i,m asking that all deed books in nelson county,virginia be allowed to be copied whether they are bound or not.

i,m asking that all deed books in the nelson county courthouse be made public and put online in a digital form,so those of us who are genealogists be able to print out the deeds on our printers.
