I never really knew Charlie, but he was in my classes and rode my bus. I found out Saturday night, at a best friend of mine's house, that she had, in fact, known him from kindergarten. The world is so small and to lose someone as great as Charlie just makes the world a little less brighter. Everyday I drive across that road. I will always think of Charlie in deepest thought.

I hope the family is alright. I keep them all in my prayers. REMEMBER CHARLIE

I didn't know Charlie he was in my group at freshman orintation and he was a real funny guy. Hes death is really upseting me and the whole school. But what really gets me is that the school isn't gonna do anything about it! No moment of silcene or anything. I talk to the principal about this and all he said was that high school was supose to be about fun and celebration not worry and death and he didn't want to bring it up! I personaly think that is crap! We all miss Charlie and are already worried and sad but is the school gonna even have a memorial NO! i talked to my older sister and she said that happens alot! NEWSFLASH!! if its happening alot maybe that means there needs to be something about it! maybe we should talk about it instead of just pushing it aside and hoping people stop worry! I think Paola High School needs to change its attuide on death and about bad things that happen we already know they happen we just want some freakin closer!

I agree with Jessica. And I go to Paola High School and I am very hurt by this because I was Charlie's best friend. If the school won't do anything about it then I will go to other schools/churches to raise awareness about this...it needs to be done. Chuck's death doesnt need to go down in vain. Please anyone who wants to help comment back. thank you.

My heart is with Charlie's family. I cannot imagine what they are going through. I can't believe that the chick that was driving walks around town and has no remorse. She will tell you that she is getting better every day.Sorry but Charlie's family doesn't feel better every day either do any of his friends that loved him. That chick needs a dose of reality and accountability!

I knew chuck from track. We met in seventh grade cuz we were both running the 4 by 4... I used to think about him all the time. I guess you could say that i had a little bit of a crush on him. I miss him so much.. and in spanish we had to do a project over someone that we knew that died. I did charlie... but what i don't understand is why we had to do a project about death, it makes everyone sad. But.... back to the real subject... I love chuck and i will never forget him. He will always be in my heart <3

Charlie was one of my best guy friends. We had eachothers back through thick and thin. We shared a lot of special moments and they will not be forgotten. Hope his family is okay and charlie and his family will be in our prayers. WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU! R.I.P. CHUCK!!

i never met charlie but i sure did hear about him from my friend in paola.... all i heard was GREAT things about him. how nice he was and funny. how he sat close to her in her math class... any ways i want to pray for his family for i would not know what to do if someone close to me died... so prayers go to him and his family and rest in Peace charlie
