BS. This is not true. What HAS been taking place, however, is the crime not being reported on in full. For example, if you pay attention to The Sun-Sentinel's crime section where they have the map with markers indicating recent crimes. They completely leave Western areas of Miramar unmarked, as if to say that there hasn't been any crime there! That is incredible! Yet they mark the crimes occurring in most other areas. The reason for this, by the way, is racial. It is. That's just the truth. They are trying to make it look like largely black areas are good areas and the nice areas are the areas with crimes. However, the demographics have been changing a bit in certain other areas which have until now been very nice and with those changes, we have seen a jump in crime. It is what it is. Stop covering it up. It only helps the criminals, not the residents. Oh, but wait...that's what they're TRYING to do. Help make the thugs look better, like people should actually like them...the reason why rap artists have a small bit part in most songs these days...shove it down the kids throats and make them think it's cool. Disgusting. Broward County is going downhill rapidly...what the lovely government is now calling being progressive.
