Adultery in the Shenango Valley League

The MARRIED president and vice president of the shenango valley softball league have had an affair with an alleged pregnancy from the encounters.

Now as a parent who is entrusting my girls to play an innocent game of softball, I certainly do not want these types of people either running or coaching my kids. There is enough "out there" to tempt our kids, now why should we allow these people to stand as a role model for our children. We need to speak out and not tolerate this type of behavior.

Where are the criminal record checks? How do we not know these people are not sexual preditors or have displayed criminal behavior.

Can we start to stand together for the safety and moral decency of our kids???

i didnt know it was a crime to get a woman pregnant,married or not.being a MOM you are not a virgin.

Sick! Abolutely sick! I heard of this disgusting affair and the son born to the couple~ The guy still isnt divorced!(sumner/fair)~ Gee Those who stand up for this type of behavior are just as guilty. The coaches, and powers that be need not be involved in league affairs IF they are busy using the league FOR affairs! The league is for softball, not for extra curricular activities for the adults.

I wonder if the sponsor is aware. This could hurt the league and sponsorship. Which schools are involved? Is the board aware and if so what is their response?

How the President could do that to his Gorgeous wife (She is absolutely beautiful) to be with that girl (Who has been with everyone and isn't attractive at all) is simply amazing.

It is hard to imagine how softball for girls ended up on the backburner for the "extracurricular" activities as described.

This story is much more than fiction and now there is a confirmed result (Since the birth).

Sad for the league. Sad for the sponsors. Sad for the girls. Shame on the two for using the league which has been trying to build a good reputation for the disgrace which is now a result. Get the trash out and lets try to rebuild the good reputation for which we have spent so much time and effort.

I don't know if the sponsor is aware. Since coaches in the league are aware of the behavior,IT should have been brought to the sponsors attention, HOWEVER, I can imagine it has been swept under the rug to keep the money flowing. Hermitage and West Middlesex schools are involved. The board should know as it would be hard to hide a pregnancy and the consortium of the couple during meetings.(One would think) People talk, especially the men on this league, so I am assuming they are just keeping it quiet to keep the peace.

BTW: The Hermitage police are familiar with this guy as he DOES have a criminal record.... Does anyone care? If this Middle aged guy is doing this with a 20 something year old vice president, Is he going to hold himself back from a 15, 16, 17,18 year old girl??? HELLO!!!

Actually you have made a good point....I wouldn't want my daughter around this guy, or female for that matter; nor would I want to fund or sponsor a league that turned a blind eye to the behavior and criminal record.

There is alot that goes on with this league and many secrets that remain covered up. The coaches try to speak, but are ignored. It seems as if the loudest are the ones that get away with everything. This is simply a shame. I hope that others respond to the league on behalf of those of us who coach who have tried to stop the president and vice president from involvement. They simply need to go, but it seems that the sponsors are the only ones that can scream loud enough to make a difference. Too many are friends with this one or that one, so the "crap" like this remains like a bad scar on this league.

I feel bad for this guys daughter who wouldn't even play because of this involvement with the girl vice president. It was her senior year and she was DAMN GOOD! It is a sad day when a guy chooses his own sorry self and little sexual game over his own daughter and family.
