Why is Marion co so "trashy"

I recently built a home in summerfield because of its proximty to the villages. Now, I'm regreting that decision based on the behavior of some its residents. Don't get me wrong most of the folks I've met here seem to be nice and friendly enough. My biggest problem is with all the litter and trash everywhere. For whatever reason people in marion feel free to dump their trash where ever are anywhere they please. It doesn't matter if it's on private property or on our public roads. I wish the county would crack down on these abusive litterers. Code enforcment seems to spend a lot of energy and tax dollars cleaning up afer these criminals with no success. Something needs to be done about it and I don't think the penalties are stiff enough to deter it.

You are so right. We have lived here all of our lives and it is getting worse all over the county.
