In the town of Georgetown there are significant disparities in the tentative assessment roll. We are seeing upwards of 50% increases across many properties. However, check-out this link and explain how this particular property could depreciate by 38% when neighboring properties have increased significantly. A house with over 2800 square feet, two barns, on 10 acres for a mere $58,000. Maybe because the owner happens to be amongst the wealthiest in the town and thus wields more influence than us lower class folk. We desperately need help.
