Jury duty easy? Who knew it?
Roughly four out of 10 California voters are unaware that jury duty in the state requires them to serve as little as one day in court a year, according to a recent poll.

The running joke used to be, "Trial cases are decided by people so dumb they don't even know how to get out of jury duty." I'm glad that that's changing. It's part of being a responsible citizen.
