Cody, congratulations on your successes, but calling yourself a "hick" seems a stretch. Your parents are both college educated, your father is a veterinarian, for chrissakes. I'll take it on faith that you had a few Buds at the ol' WPS and were making a joke. If not, you're wrapping yourself in the flag of populism trying to portray yourself as the Everyman you are not in order to garner greater ratings for Fox.

Cody is a spoiled rich kid and has been all of his life. He's not the regular old kid who goes to and graduates from RHS.

His dad has screwed people in this town many times concerning treatment of their pets. It's all about status, prestige, and money with him and Cody is the same way.

That's what Ruidoso is all about. The rich ones, not those of us who work and try to survive in this cutthroat town.

This is what happens when landownowners get greedy and sell out to outsiders.

Cody, all the best to you. You may have been a big fish in this little pond but your dad being a small town veterinarian is not what got you your job on FOX. You did that! Congratulations! As to the accusation that you are just trying to be populist to garner greater ratings for FOX, balderdash! What ever your life experience was growing up in the mountains, I bet you did feel like a hick when you got to New York City. Everything is relative and nothing around here prepares you for the greatest cosmopolitan city in this country. I was raised in a large metropolitan city and still felt like a hick in N.Y. All of these sad idiots that critiszie you can leave town for all i care. i say we take these insignificant complainers and put them on an island, so that we dont have to hear their pitiful complaints. it is sad to know that in this country, if you are not successful, you think you need to blame that on someone else. i am sure that Dr. Willard did not call up fox news and say "please hire my son". that is a stupid accusation, cody got his job all on his own. you suckers that did nothing with your life are just jealous! sad for you...actually i dont care if your life sucks, you brought it on yourselves.
