We treat our pets as members of our family, most people treat them like the children that have grown, and moved out, or the children that they never had. It really doesn't matter how it happened, the owner of pet is responsible for its actions, much like you are responsible for the actions your minor children.
I also feel that as a trainer she should know how to approach a strange dog. If she bent down to get acquainted I don't think she did anything that she wouldn't do with any other dog. I think that the owner of the dog should be responsible for any medical bills that were incurred. I think that the fact that the trainer isn't going to stop doing what she has a passion for, which is working with dogs, makes her a very strong woman and I applaud her. |
