WOW! I didnt know a County Sheriff could publicly ENDORSE a candidate for ANY office! Arent Sheriffs Constitutional Officers of the State, there to serve ALL of us, regardless of politics? If Sheriffs can do it, can ANY elected official of the state endorse whomever they please AND use their official title in doing so, as this report does?

I wonder who Madison County Sheriff will publicly endorse for Mayor next time around, or Lt.Gov ., or even for the House or Senate? Where do you draw the line!

I guess we really do need a new Constitution for Alabama!!!
