high school coach drinking in front of kids at fundraisin events

It's amazing how lauderdale county school system holds students accountable but not the staff. Last year the coach over the football team at SE was caught drinking at a fundraiser that he required the athletes to be at. The rules states that alcohol cannot be used at school functions by anybody. The superintendent and the school board knew about it and done nothing. He was also caught drinking in the field house on numerous occasions which is located on school property. How do we hold our kids to a higher standard than the staff?

That is really sad. Where are the Christian values. We wonder why our kids are killed drinking and driving or kill someone else. Where is the integrity in the school system. Educating the kids on what not to do is a start. I was also told about this man leaving a football player in the field house with a heat related illness. His parents had to rush him to the emergency room after practice. The man should be fired but that won't happen until you get some Christian leadership.
