LaGrange, Kosciusko counties may revert to gravel roads in face of rocky revenue

State gas-tax revenue plummeted last year to the lowest levels since 2003. Indiana had $539 million to distribute for the fiscal year that ended in July, compared with $564 million in 2003.

Going back to gravel? Really? How about repealing the county raises you clowns handed out. I work in sturgis and live in Lagrange I pay a wheel tax on every vehicl I have for Road maint. maybe we need new leader ship at all levels or better yet maybe I need to move me and my tax money to sturgis.

Lagrange does not want to grow the town. They have had offers for growth and they refuse every time. They want to keep Lagrange's heritage alive. If I am not mistaken, you cannot keep the heritage alive if the town is dieing. This is one of the many reason's I was very happy to move away.

Now that sounds like a blast from the past, Thought the lottery was suppose to take care of the roads, Guess that was just another election delusion!
