Warrensburg police bust hallucinogenic mushroom growing operation

they used flashbangs and full swat gear, and kicked in the door. Not one firearm was recovered. Excessive? I think so.

I wonder if they had been growing Amanitas (a mushroom that contains a poison that kills and does not offer any hallucinogenic properties) if the cops would have gone this far.
Why would a psychedelic mushroom be illegal while one that offers nothing but poison be legal?

x-ray vision binoculars to search the house first for weapons and then instead of surprising them with flashbangs and forcing the door they should have called and made an appointment to arrest them. Better yet maybe you should be the one to knock next time if you can do better.

Seeing these lard-asses in their wanna be ninja gear is comedy. Seeing them try to act like ninjas doing a no-knock warrant execution is a tragedy in the making.
