Olathe store robbed
A man demanded money from the Star Fuel Mart at 11960 S. Strang Line Road about 10:30 a.m. and took an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing the area in a white Ford Explorer.
After hearing a description of the suspect's vehicle on police radio, police officers stopped a vehicle that matched the description about two miles from the robbery. Police were able to identify the driver as the robbery suspect and he was arrested without incident, police said.
The suspect is being held in the Johnson County jail. Charges have not been filed. Read more
